You say you’re not getting sound from Windows Media Player – but are you getting anything the speakers otherwise? Look on the Devices tab. It’s dark, you could have accidentally plugged it s2o the wrong one.

Thursday, June 11, 7: Right-clicking on realtek gives me “audio devices”. After all that, assuming it works, left click the white speaker s2ll and choose “mixer”.

Click the Properties button. Is it installed correctly? Amith, Once you are done with what Wolfie2k6 said, I’d go back and uninstall the driver and install it in compatibility mode and see if that helps.
