Feb 21, 4: Please log in to reply. Bootcamp 3 does support Windows 7, though. May not be the newest driver, but way better than the Basic Display Driver. Wait for Windows 8 support to become available. Feb 26, Maybe Apple wants to certify the drivers before ATI releases them?

Frigidman, on October 18th I’m just having trouble with getting this driver. I tried to be a clever monkey and just install the drivers by force via the Device Manager.

What drivers did you install, none? Now everything’s working, like magic!

I assume radson barfing ’cause it knows it’s Mac hardware. Feb 21, 4: I’m not sure that I notice a huge difference, but at least the games aren’t nagging me any more.
I have the same sort of question, but with nvidia drivers. You currently have javascript disabled. Are you happy with the result, yes or no. Can’t update past the special “boot camp” versions? But as I’ve been assured that it’s not a Mobility chip, I went in and added the ‘Radeon x’ driver there were two listed; I chose the first one.

Not even detecting my ATI Radeon x
In device manager, it only lists the Basic Windows Display. View answer in context. My early iMac is never going to officially support Windows 8, and I doubt ATI bootdamp release some nice new drivers for the x May not be the newest driver, but way better than the Basic Display Driver.
So I went to get the latest drivers. I tried the first one, and it wouldn’t display. Feb 26, 1: I’ve forgotten my password. Anyone know of a sneaky workaround?
