I see it whenever my system boots, though I don’t remember what it is. I normally ahcci let the computer format the drive when installing windows but I have a feeling that won’t work here. Have you tried to run Windows Update to see if there are any available drivers for your PC?

I’m just wondering why you have never had to think about anti-virus before? First issue is the understanding of what raid does. Assuming your motherboard will support a new processor, it would not require a new Windows install and you would not have to do anything special to get the PC to recognize it. Which one should I be trying to install, because the ones I’ve downloaded continue to give me the platform error. It also came with 2 GB hard drives but before I figured out that the second drive was just a data recorder set up in a RAID formation in order to safely keep sensitive data safer by duplicating it on a second drive.
