It is very lightweight and is completely made out of lightweight plastic. It does not come with an AC power adapter, which is kinda ridiculous. Except for the fact that I think an adaptor should have come with it, there’s not much to complain about. The keyboard also comes with Yamaha Education Suite and tools to help beginners learn new songs. Metronome Just what the teacher ordered! And of course, the keyboard includes a Sustain Pedal jack on the back for practicing and playing piano pieces.
I was quite amazed at all the functions of this keyboard, and after reading the manual, have no real problems selecting what I want to do. Unless you’ve got lots of money to throw away, this is a must because the 4 AAA batteries it comes with will obviously go weak soon and you would have to change them frequently.

If I could go back I would probably try to find something with ee413 keys, which would cost a little more, but I feel a big jump in feel from playing this keyboard and a real piano. The keyboard also comes with Yamaha Education Suite and tools to help beginners learn new keygoard.
These are easy to use professional features that set this keyboard apart from others in its class.
I particularly liked the percussion instruments and horns. I bought this for my son who is just starting piano.

Their skill blew my ears off! The PSR-E also has auto accompaniment styles that “follow” your playing.

Go here to buy a Yamaha keyboard. The keyboard has some great sounds. There are some sounds on here like the drum and percussion patches that I find cheap and useless, but there are a few really good patches and a lot of very usable sounds in the PSR.
